Casino Games
Games found in most casinos are referred to as casino games. In casinos, players gamble chips or real money on various random outcome or combinations of outcomes games. Casino games are not only found at land based casinos, but also at online casinos where the choice and variety may increase due to the lack of building space needed. Casino games are sometimes found outside casinos, however these games are usually purely for fun and do not involve money.
Casino games are generally broken into three categories: table games, electronic games, and random number ticket games such as Keno. Slot machines typically involve one player and do not require casino staff to function, as they are operated by a computer. Random number games, such as roulette are played at a table; however Keno and bingo are played on paper tickets and/or cards which are bought.
Table games can then be broken down again into three sub-categories of games: card games, dice/tiles and random numbers. Some common card games players may see at casinos include baccarat, blackjack, casino war, four card poker, let it ride and two-up. Craps, Pai Gow and Sic bo are examples of dice/tile games and roulette and bingo are random number games. All these games are staples at casinos, no matter if their land based or online.
